波纹填料主要是取代塔内散堆填料，解决阻力大、比表面积小，传质效能差、易破碎等突出问题。它规定了气液流路．改善了淘流、壁流和润湿性能．降低了阻力，同时提供更多的气液接触面积从而提高了传质，传热效果。

三、适用范围（Scope of application）
波纹填料可广泛用于煤气洗涤塔．焦化洗涤，洗苯、洗氨培、化肥热气饱和、脱硫酸、硫酸干燥、吸收塔等。
